This frame is designed for a 1-1/2" deep canvas, and will also accept a 1-5/8" deep panel. The panel would sit flush with the front of the frame, whereas the canvas will sit recessed by 1/8in. if it is exactly 1-1/2" deep.
Made with solid red oak sides, and soft wood backing for ease of drilling and mounting.
